Seattle to Portland in Five Easy Pieces
I've always been intrigued by the annual Seattle to Portland ride, but there's no way I want to ride 100 miles in a day so I came up with a way to complete it in five easy pieces. I've now ridden each segment, and they're all beautiful with not a one of them over 50 miles!
Five trains a day run between Portland and Seattle which makes it easy to do each of these pieces in a day. I like to book all of my train trips in advance because you can save up to 25%, and if you end up needing to change your trip, you can refund your trip into a voucher for later use. Be aware there is a $5 additional charge for bikes per segment.
Since I live in Portland, I based the trips from there.
